Second stay at this fantastic value for money hotel, rooms good, bar area good, food for dinner and breakfast is exceptional. They must have a good chef, it seems to be a popular restaurant. Good beer and wine selection in the bar, all prices very reasonable, we loved staying here.

Really lovely family run (and dog friendly) restaurant and pub with rooms. The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need for a short stay. Well located for the three peaks. The food is delicious (particularly the rib eye) and they have wonderful staff who were really engaged. Would highly recommend!

Well, been here a few times, last time i happened to mention about Filey Bay whisky and the landlord greeted us with “we’ve got some” (they have the best whisky menu i’ve ever seen) . I was very tempted by the turkey but the Featherblade steak was too much to resist! This place is amazing, if you haven’t been yet … just do it :-)

The Craven Arms was the perfect overnight stay for myself and my husband while doing some walking in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, we were given a lovely warm welcome on our arrival, the room was a lot comfier than we had predicted, we had the best nights sleep! We had an evening meal which was amazing, the food was very tasty and good sized portions not too big not too small, just right. The breakfast was also excellent, finest ingredients were definitely used. Perfectly situated next to the main road but there was no noise from the road that we could hear. The weather was extremely cold but it was very warm inside and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, also checking in making sure everything was ok. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again. Thank you

Four adults called in for lunch (pre-booked but there was plenty of free tables today.) All our main dishes were served on wonderful hot plates and every mouthful eaten with enjoyment. We all enjoyed our desserts too. The building is a lovely well kept clean pub with plenty of off road parking. We will definitely be calling back for more delicious meals (the person cooking the food definitely knows their skill very well.)

Eleven of us arrived for lunch on Boxing Day having booked well in advance. We hadn’t confirmed the booking so our table had gone. The staff could not have been more kind! They immediately put enough small tables together for us in the bar, brought us drinks, cutlery etcetera and took our orders. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely delicious! We will be returning at some point and we cannot recommend this lovely pub and eating venue highly enough!! Thank you!!

Stayed here over new year with our little whippet. After a really hard six months we decided we needed a bit of time out and after speaking to Lynne over the phone we knew the Craven Arms was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. Lynne was so understanding and from checking in with the lovely gentleman, having a meal in the evening with the lovely waitresses to checking out, again with a lovely lady (sorry I didn't get your name), who was there organising breakfast the whole experience was just what we needed. The rooms are super cozy, as are the beds! The food is absolutely lush!! And the staff are just so lovely, kind, warm and understanding. We will definitely be back. Thank you all so much! .

Ate Sunday dinner here. They catered for Gluten Free (separate menu but with most dishes available). I had the lamb and it was delicious and a very generous portion. GF Yorkshire pudding available. Highly recommended
